Description
Description
Vase by John Beswick for Darlington Crystal depicting LS Lowry's Going to Work.
Painted in 1959 and one of Lowry's relatively rare watercolours. The scene is a favourite Lowry theme and shows factory workers walking to work against a backdrop of industrial mills and terraced houses.
The top of the vase evokes the industrial skyline to create a very unusual vase shape.
An eye-catching piece for your home or makes a great gift for any Lowry fan.
Glazed ceramic, approximate size 210 x 120mm
