Adopt View from the Window of Royal Technical College, towards Broughton (1925)
Lowry was able to draw the views from the Technical College windows when he was attending Salford School of Art, located on the upper floors of the building. This view is taken from the balcony of the Art School (now the Peel Building of the University of Salford) looking towards the centre of the city.

T&Cs: Adoption of the work does not constitute ownership. Due to the delicate nature of some works, they may not be on permanent public display for the full year adoption. At these times of ‘rest’ and during any periods of conservation, The Lowry will notify the adopter to discuss other ways to publicly acknowledge the adoption that satisfy all parties. This will not affect benefits and the work would still be able to view in the archive by appointment. Adoptions are non-exclusive and do not prevent the continuation of existing support or future new adoptions.
